Hey all, I wanted to let you know that I created a separate post for annotations (notes) on graphs. The original request was focused on data labels, so to avoid confusion this topic deserved it separate request thread.

Today, we should be launching a new feature that allows you to show data labels across all chart-type widgets (including graphs). Yet some type of annotation system is also at the back of our minds as well - so once we have some news regarding this, we will let you know. We already heard some comments which I am pinning here:

'It would be great if non admin users could add comments to live reports in conjunction with this e.g. email addresses could be given permission to add keynotes and comments only.'

'Yes this would be great on line graphs as well, annotations to know what happened on that date.'

I would like to mark point on the graph with annotation. For example - marking the point in a revenue graph when a promotion started and stopped.
