It's now easier to work with date ranges in goal widgets

A few improvements were made for the goal widgets. We changed how the date ranges for this widget align with report-wide date ranges and report automation.

Now when you add a goal widget to a report, it will automatically have the same date range that is set for the whole report. You can change that in the top right corner, and the goal widget's settings will follow.

Now if your manually picked date range for the goal widget matches a preset (for example, this month, this week, etc.), there is a message offering you to switch from manual to a preset date range. This allows the widget to load faster. Also, this allows you to make this a "rolling" widget in a rolling report.

Now if you have a report automated and scheduled, there is no need to manually update the date ranges for goal widgets in that report. With this update goal widget with a preset date range chosen will automatically update inside the automated report for the following period.
